Earth2150 fan films

A devoted member of the Earth2150 called Simon is making engine rendered Earth 2150 movies. I haven't seem them myself (d/ling would take really long cause it's 38mb), but he's receiving a lot of positive comments so those among you with a good connection may want to check it out :)

well, the movie is pretty nice. It's about a HUGE fight between the UCS and the LC. I saw about 20 vehicle factories and the LC version (forgot the name) that kept producing vehicles, first tigers and stuff... later jaguars.

A bit later you also see a big weather storm rage above the UCS base doing a lot of damage. But the UCS retaliate with 16 or 20 plasma cannons and almost annihilate the LC base. Eventually followed by a UCS land strike and some air drops and the LC is wasted

Hmm, I might download the movie when I get the time/chance. The picture looks nice, although I'd take a Phobos detector to scout over two Thunderers any day. ::)

[hide]Downloaded it. Watched it. The LC side was clearly inept. ~15 UCS Jaguar HP units against ~8 LC Crusher HE units? ::) The LC got owned big time there. Perhaps if they had used the Thunderer HS units against the Jaguar HP units after the Crusher HE units had destroyed the AA plasma cannon units, the LC would have killed all the Jaguar Mechs easily. :P Very nice movie, although somewhat disappointing, as far as action was concerned. Loved the music[/hide]

I think it would be because hardly anyone here has played the Earth 2150/The Moon Project games, so they're not familiar with them enough to be highly enthusiastic about them. :P As far as I'm aware of, Earthnuker and I are the only ones that are quite interested in Earth 2150/The Moon Project, etc etc. :-

I don't see why people who haven't played the Earth series shouldn't watch these films. So anybody who reads this, give it a try!

Perhaps it could have something to do with the download size? Maybe the 56k users here don't like waiting 3 hours to download one movie? :- Still, I'm on 56k, and I downloaded it and watched it. It's really great stuff! ;D
