You get into a system of beliefs when you get into religions, such as christianity. It isn't only a belief in a god, it is that god created all and so on.

However, when a creationist does the same thing, they immediately remind him that opinions are just opinions, and it makes no difference what scientists believe (except when they happen to agree with them).

then when confronted with the undeniable objective irrefutable hard-core solid steel facts that some of the most well respected physicists in the world agree that the evidence points to a created universe....they cover their eyes and ears and yell "thats out of context! that can't be true! No true scientist would accept creation as a reasonable explanation for the origins of the universe!"

I was under the impression that the topic was about an Intelligent Design behind the Big Bang and the universe that got created as a result of it. That does oppose evolution. In fact, it supports it.
