Discription of the game (contains spoilers)

Cyro-Interactive used the orignial Dune Story very well

The Game starts, when Jessica and Paul flee from the Harkonnens after the

Attack

on there Capital on Dune. (For People who read the complete Story, it is,

as always, only the Story from the first Book. So after escaping, Sietch

Tabr is next Stop.

Their its decedied to fight against the Harkonnen, attack their Spice

Harvesters and

unite all Fremen under who strong Hand, yours of course :))

Between the Mission there is lot of talking, where Cyro made the decision to

let the Story go

other ways then in the Book, but always stays related to it. Sometimes its

like all the Stuff

between the Text, that Franck Herbert did not write down.

So sneakin around with a Cryssknife, Shai-Huluds Teeth, the know

Maula-Pistol or a Lasgun,

while smooth Semutra Music is coming out of your Speakers, you'll soon feel

like on a Spice Trip :))

Controling of Paul is not so easy. Only few Buttons are used, but the

Camarea Adjustment is not

as good as it can be. I suggest to turn the Camara Adjustment Option in

Preferences Menu to ON,

otherwise you'll be confused very often. And you should take the Atreides

Training, for knowing

you to hide behind a wall, look around the corner, and roll until you are

hieded behind the opposit one.

So get it, take some Harvesters out, argue with Smugglers, fight with

Sardaukar, have a hard time

to get behind the well thought about Puzzles, and finally rule over the

Univers !!

And remember that once the Djihad, will take away your PC :))

I have played it, and i can say the game is pretty cool. The controls take some time to get used to, but after that, the game goes smoothly. To bad one can't save a game while midway a mission. The Planetologists facility level took me some time, because i had no ammo left for my maula and lasgun, but finally i succeded.

Anyway i'd give it a 4. Because of the inability to save.

Foy those who are accustomed to the Quake-like controls (like myself) it takes some time to get used to. The major point is that controls can't be set, neither keyboard, nor mouse. It helps if you shut mouse-looking of, which limiteds your view. But looking ain't the same as directing in FH's Dune. The tutorial is a should-do, cause it trains in the use of these controls.

BTW, i use WinXP, and i experienced some malfuntions. Currently i have no problems, but the question is for how long.

How in the world are they going to not let players set their controls that sukz. And about the WindXP malfunctions only until the next time you log on to your computer. lol Thanx Echna Darr

Controls suck initially but i got used to it. And indeed, malfunctions are solved after a reboot  ;)

I got the game the 5th of december, tried it, didn't like it, had some spare time this weekend so tried it again, and now, yikes, i'm FH Dune addicted.

Hi,

I noticed that a couple of people have finished the game. I am very stuck in smugglers camp.  I get to the part just before rescuing chani, I kill the guy, it says objective complete and then the restart mission screen comes up

??  I also noticed that I need somthing to get in that door, but I can't find anything.

I would appreciate any help someone could give me.  Thanks
