Can some one with a CD burner help me.

Hi. I need some help from someone who has a CD burner and Windows 98 (I suppose Win95 will work too). I have a CD burner, but I use WinXP, so I can't do this myself.

Anyway, I have a game that is archived using a special process which will only work with Windows 98 (or another Win that supports DOS, I assume). It has a program which, if you extract the files correctly (which I cannot do), you can have it set up to burn as an individual CD (a replica of it's original, that is). I could send a CD with the compressed stuff to someone meeting these requirements, they could burn it into a real CD, and send it back. I'll of course pay for shipping.

By the way, this game is extremely difficult to find these days, as it is over 10 years old (i.e. "abandonware"). But if anyone still has a problem with this, I understand.

well, i would think that the easiest way would place a copy of win98 on you HD together with WinXP. Or perhaps you can extract the files if you use win95 compatibility mode.

Compatibility mode doesn't work. I'm betting it's more of a dos thing.

I don't think I have win98 anymore. In fact, I think the guy who set up my computer kept the CD or something. That crooked bastard.
