Taking screenshots from quicktime movies

Hello everybody,

Would anyone happen to be able to tell me how to take screenshots from quicktime movies?

hmm. not sure, but i think the people over at the landsraad would know, or maybe they view the movies in full screen(take a pic with howes quickpic) and then just resize them to make them smaller.

well if all else fails you could try to watch movie in full screen and take a picture with howes picture thingy..a lot of people have that program if you wnat more info on it, but i am not sure if i have link to file..may be on my computer

I have done some preliminary searches on the net, which I am sure you have already tried Mahdi, and have found nothing. Except of course using screen capture software like Andrew has suggested. I know what you ask can be done very easily in DVD software like PowerDVD so it stands to reason that it should be doable in Quicktime. Sorry, can't help you at this point. When I get home I will play around with Quicktime a little.

Seems you need quicktime pro to do it. Alteo'Deo's helping me figure it out.
