well, it's mainly a multiplayer game but i don't think the AI sux.. i mean they can fight pretty well, drive all vehicles and on higher skills can be quite tough.

What's it all about?:

Well, it's a WW2 FPS game, made for multiplayer. The game always consists of 2 teams, the Axis (Germany/Japan) and the Allies (America, England, Russia). The country that you play depends on the map.

There are a total of 16 maps, but more may be downloaded now and they are all pretty big. The point of the game is to secure as many areas as possible and hold them, if you do this, the enemies points will diminish, and when it reaches zero you have won. Ofcourse the same goes for the enemy.

There are a total of 5 classes to play with, Scout (sniper, artillery support), Assault (machine gun, stronger than others), Anti tank (bazooka), Medic (medpack and rifle), and engineer (ability to repair vehicles, lay mines and satchel charges, rifle). You can control any vehicle or gun you see. Be it a jeep, a tank, a cruiser, an aircraft carrier, a bomber or a machine gun post. The fun thing is that many vehicles can be used by multiple players at once. A sherman tank for instance has a driver/gunner but can also mount a machine gunner on top of the tank, for extra anti infantry/anti air support. A bomber can have a flyer/bomber and 2 people for defence vs. fighters. One in the upper gun, and one in the lower gun

Err, I've never played it, but I take it this game is very similar to renegade, what with character classes and vehicles and such?

well yeah, even though controlling vehicles is different. And the action is less arcade based i guess. And ofcourse you can control 1 vehicle with multiple persons, there are some vehicles you can't control in renegade like ships and it's a bit more realistic
