anyway I once found an level editor for dune2, but didn't understand it a bit.

well dune2 is a very simple game, if you do it right you can make house corrino a playable house (replacing one of the others) in 20 to 30 min.

Well, i tried it in the past, (about 6 to 7 years ago). I didn't succeed at that point... the game just crashed :) . But theoretically if you know enough of editing dune2, i bet it's not too hard to do.

I too edited the game some 6/7 years ago, but I succeeded. I managed to play as sardaukar, fremen or mercenary. but I have not played dune 2 for many years and I forgot how to edit the game to sardaukar :'(
