DUNEASSASIN Posted November 21, 2002 Share Posted November 21, 2002 A while ago shortly after I had bought Emperor: Battle For Dune I installed it.When I attempted to play it the video was choppy, and when I tried to Exit itwould go to a black screen. Overall it was bad preformance. I then lost interestin the game. When I came accross some help from someone on the internet theysuggested I went to a site they gave to download a new video driver. After doingso I saw improved preformance. Then recently we lost everything on our computer(due to reformating or something like that I think). So I recently reinstalledEmperor and it turned out I had the same symptons as the first time(choppyvideo...ect.). I figured that I should download a new video driver like the lasttime. The only problem is I don't know how. I don't know if i'm asking the rightperson right now but if I'm not let me know who I should be asking. From the run menu type "dxdiag".DUNEASSASIN, with dxdiag we can specificly see what hardware you have and suggest the correct drivers for you. If you need help with dxdiag, please let me know.
