i probably spun it around a few times to get a better look of my "outpost." lol. i call it that b/c i had 6 sard barracks in my base, the CY, a barracks, like 13 flame turrets, and a bunch of windtraps. lol

how many of you have been soo bored you actually took the time to do this?

I've done that before. I've actually done it quite a few times in skirmish against the AI actually. I boosted the veterancy level of all my Snipers and Kindjal Infantry to level 3 that came from the barracks. (i.e. all Snipers and Kindjal Infantry that I trained would come out elite.)

How many people have EVER been this bored? lol

dj might remember it, too. lol. we were pumping out sards like there wasn't a tomorrow. and that's not even all the things we had. we made more. like a race. it was pretty funny.

That looks like Baklawa Flats. Looks like you were probably in a co-op campaign. Btw, you don't need all those Sard barracks, you only need 3 to get the maximum output of Sards. ;)

i got them that way by playing against 1 easy computer player. i just sent the stuff over there. it actually took me a while b/c they could never build anything and i'd keep killing their crap. lol

we weren't looking for a maximum output of sardaukar. we were having fun. it was a race to see who could fill up the most spots. it was fun but then i got bored and moved my mass amount of troops and killed the stuff.

Stuff I do when I'm really bored playing Emperor:

Atreides:

Steal enemy vehicles and then hold them over mongoose until all the mongoose are elite.

Destroy an enemy base except for a factory, refinery, windtrap, and barracks. Then deploy 12 Kindjal Infantry near the factory entrance, and 3 Snipers near the barracks. Wait until I have 3 elite snipers and 3 elite kindjal, and then return them to their barracks. ^-^

Turtle until all my minos are elite.

Harkonnen:

Steal enemy vehicles and hold them over troopers, missiles tanks, and devastators, until I get all my units elite.

Destroy an enemy base except for a refinery, windtrap, and barracks. Let the AI train lots of infantry. Then go in the flame tanks. ^-^ :D

Make 10 advanced carryalls and 10 devastators. Then, send them all into the enemy base, drop them, and self destruct them all next to enemy units and buildings. ;D

Use Inkvine Catapults to fire repeatedly on the ground, so I have a nice line of Inkvine fluid. Then, light it up and watch as the stupid AI send their infantry into the raging inferno. ^-^

Ordos: Micromanage dust scouts and laser tanks until they are all elite (i.e. don't kill the AI yet.)

Steal enemy units and hold them over AA troopers until all my AA troopers are elite.

Make 20 EITS then send them all into the enemy base. ;D ^-^

Subhouses:

Pop out dozens of replicas using Ix projectors and kill the AI using only fake units.

Micromanage a projector until it is elite.

Infect all the enemy vehicles with leeches and then attack the base with the leeches when I have about 50. ^-^

Kill the enemy base except for a refinery, windtrap and barracks, and then stand 2 contaminators in the entrance of the barracks to slap any infantry that come out. ^-^ (Same applies for Fremen warriors, Fedaykin, and Sardaukar regulars.)

Miscelleneous:

Start a campaign and actually finish it.

When i'm bored i cheer all units to see what they're doing....

or build a huge group of scouts and put them all ablaze with my flametank

or i sell everything and do an all out infantry rush

or i start executing my troops with snipers or sards (i.e. 7 snipers in one line and everytime one light infantry walks to the middle so he can be shot

Onces i was so bored i made Tons of infantry and i never stopped building.. Until my computer crashed ;D

heck, i probably spend more time on this forum than anyone else

After a long hard day of doin nothin on school and being for hours on the duneboard i go home, to spend even more time on the duneboards
