The official Dune novels website has posted some information on Dune 7 that outlines the plans Brian and Kevin have for the Dune novels they are writing. Here is a bit from their statement:

After publication of THE BATTLE OF CORRIN (Fall, 2004), while they prepare for "Dune 7," Brian and Kevin may publish an interim volume of short stories, selections from Frank Herbert's notes, and missing chapters from the original DUNE novels, which will be called THE ROAD TO DUNE.

So it looks like there could still be a lot of writing left for the dynamic duo which may be a good or bad thing depending on your opinion of their previous works. It should be interesting to see how much of Frank's notes are published as they have seemed hesitant to publish them so far. If you are interested there is also a timeline that places both the published and unpublished books in chronological order.

According to The Landsraad website the miniseries will be airing this March. More details on the miniseries can be found at the SciFi's official website. Also be sure to check out the latest Dunesburry comic for a good laugh.

I heard that they were going to write some young adult books, do you know anything about that?

They mention it in the timeline but I think its still tentative.
