Xbox Beta Live

Hey, you know Xbox has the Beta stages going on right? Well I applied and I'm in! Wooooo! I'm getting Xbox Live before so many people! Mwahaha. I will be getting the gamename ScumDog, hopingly not taken. Anyone else get in?

I just placed my order for the kit :P ;D woo hoo! Im in beta too! should have my kit by tuesday, see you online ;D only thing is go live is planned for Nov 15 so its just a few weeks free play, they quit giving away the free Beta memory card/key ring thingy. :-

I've been playing Wacked and Moto GP have yet to try and tackle Fever yet. Acriku let me know when you get your kit and we can get some games on. nick ther is DjCiD (how original :P ;D)

Cant wait for Mech Assault and Phantasy Star Online ;D

ok. you guys live in the same state? if you have broadband, you can play anyone in the US?

Nope I live in North Carolina. My brother lives a few miles away and hes got Live to (and in the beta) so thats cool and I know a few other ppl from my home state that is gettign it. And the cool thing is we can all game from our house with each other or ppl from different states.

One thing I did notice is if your connecting to a game and lag is really bad it wasns you with a pop up. Some thing like network connectivity might affect gameplay or something I forgot. but its nice to know the were concerend enough to let us know ^-^

You can play on Live against anyone worldwide! Last night I was playing with two other guys in MotoGP and one was from London and the other with an australian accent (didn't ask him where he was). And lag is very minimal, none present if I dare say so! But if someone's cable is lagging behind, it won't affect anyone but that person as they just jump around a bit.

I've seen a guy sink thru the race track on Moto and his lil dot was bouncing all over the trac-map ;D kinda funny ^-^

But I havent noticed any lag on Wacked. And there was one match up for Fever that I declined casue of the 'May affect gameplay popup'. I've only seen that pop up one other time when joing a Moto race session. So lag is like none... but we'll see what happenes on go live ;)

I played one game of Whacked and thought it to be the stupidest game ever. All it is is many ways to get the most stars, right?

Well I agree the stars mode is rather lame. ^-^

But I prefer fragfest my self, who can get the most kills in 5 mins ;D You'll have to try that mode MadDoG ;)

Ack!! NO! Its Go Live and I have yet to recieve the re-issued beta CD of the Beta Go Live and so I cant play on Live till I do... :- man comeone Microsoft get on the ball.

Hey MadDoG I had to call the 800-4MY-XBOX and they are shipping me the cd overnite (for free too the overnite part) so if you dont get yours today I'd call... I think they left off the second round pick of testers when they resent out the cd's. ^-^

Woo Hoo its here my Go Live disk (after I called and harrassed Microsoft). They sent a sorry letter with the disk and I also go a Xbox Live watch ;D tnk xbox... i think ^-^ (I would of rather gotten the carrying case and MU) but Im not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.
