I am making a rapid firing machine gun for the mongoose to kill infantry, this is what I wrote:

[CYIK_W]

None = 100

Earplugs = 100

BPV = 80

Light = 55

Medium = 65

Heavy = 65

Concrete = 100

Walls = 50

Building = 30

CY = 15

Harvester = 20

Invulnerable = 0

Aircraft = 50

is that right or..?? but it does n't seem to fire rapidly, how do I do that?

i assume that u know that the above is just the warhead?

the firing speed (reload count) is contained in the turret data but u can only make it faster to a certain degree bcos it has to work in correlation to the XBF animation

and also, if you want to make a new turret, so that it doesn't affect the other units, go to the mod tutorials thread in the index of important topics.

wait a minute if you do reloadcount=1 then it will shoot repitadly but then again it wont stop shoot at all!!!!

yes that can happen with units such as the buzzsaw as the firing animation is very short. WIth other units such as the atsniper they will still not fire very fast as they have a long firing sequence, including the reload animation

you can also put bullet speed =-1 and that will make it so that it is impossible to miss, an instant shot!

i hate conceptual bullets

which is why there will be very few of them in my mod =)

they just eliminate an advantage of a unit being faster
