House special abilities... how I would have done it

There's nothing wrong with them per se; they fit well with the character of each House and all. However, I would have made one minor change - have these abilities not be tied exclusively to their 'own' units. Let us take as example House Ordos' regenerating vehicles and experienced (level 1) infantry. If an Ordos player captures, say, an Atreides factory, his/her 'Atreides' vehicles would also gain the regeneration trait.

Conversely, an Atreides player scoring an Ordos barracks would be able to recycle his elite 'Ordos' infantry.

What do you folks think?

I'm not sure that's possible. You can't make units change stats depending on who owns them.

LOL it would be nice but it doesnt works when play with atre and get a ords barack or something then yes all the ordos units will have their special abilities but not the one of the atre ... !!!

all units have their own abilities which cant takeover to other !!!

Not as a mod, but you could have done it if the engine was set up in a slightly different way - eg ordos captures hk facrory - builds orassaulttank, which is an HK assault tank that has regen, but slows down after being hit.

well that is possible in a way (to mod i mean)

u cud make the "orassaulttank" secondarybuilding= orfactory and primarybuilding= hkfactory (or vice-versa)

of course ud still b able to build the original assault tank but still...
