Dune and the OTO

Ordo Templi Orientis, or OTO is a cult formed on many occult practices. It follows almost exactly like the masonic cult. It focuses on enlightenment and in the higher stages secretly promotes actual satanic practices. There are many similarities between frank's writings and that of Hubbard, crawley and many other spiritual writers. Masonic and occultist parallels match throughout the philosophy in Dune. I am not saying that it in any way Frank's philosophy is of these group's origins. It just seem strange how in all of frank's books, his statements about religion, politics, ethics are strikingly similar.

What do you guys think? Do you think I am reading too much into it?

yeah all that stuff is pretty scary. If only people knew how much power was within some of these cults. The most powerful is probably the masonic order. There are subgroups within it that disguise themselves as masons. They actually at a super high degree. If you knew the practicioners of these groups you would probably be shocked. Many powerful business men and politicians are involved in some dangerous cults. Most of these groups want to destroy organized religion or turn it into an ecumenicist religion for all.
