Trying to sign up for multiplayer...

I register with the Westwood register thingy that came with Emperor, go through all of it, but it never E-mails my password to my E-mail address! I've tried it several times, on several different days, and the result is the same - I never get an E-mail!

Does Westwood just not want me to play Emperor in multiplayer or something? Have they ceased support of their game?

Try this page. Make absolutely certain that you enter everything correctly. Other than that, I can't imagine what it'd be.

Oh, btw, although it says that you need to activate your nickname through e-mail, it's not true. I've found that, as soon as you register, you can start using the nickname.

OK, I went to that URL and did the "if you forgot your username/password" bit and it actually DID E-mail the password to me this time, thank you.

Since we're on the topic of signing up for multi-player, I just wanted to ask: How do you modify your birth date once you've already signed up with a nickname on WOL? I just looked at it recently and realized that it was wrong, but somehow I can't edit it! :O ???

If there wasn't a modification box on the page in your "Edit profile" thing, then you probably can't. For some reason, WOL is pretty notorious for not giving you access to modify your account. You can't even change your password unless you send them emails.
