Popularity Question

Hello, I purchased Emperor a year ago but only recently began playing it seriously thnanks to a new beefed up computer:).

I only started playing the Multyplayer mode about two weeks ago. I was surprised at how little people there are in the lobby. Is Emperor just not a popular game or am I playing at the wrong time?

heh yeah u can find more people who talk to you in a graveyard then in the emperor lobby

Well, I play there frequently for now. I'm happy to have any sort of game, but I don't really like much talk. I think Emperor isn't that popular, and regardless of what time you play, it will always be pretty mediocre in the Emperor lobby. Patience however, can be rewarding. On the other hand, sometimes it isn't. ::)

Most of the time their are enough games to choose the setting that u like. There are normally about 4 or 5 games on. I think if more people knew about emperor then more people would play it.

It depends on when you play as to how many people are online ... I'v seen evenings 9p cst to 1a cst where there was always games available for people to play.

There are always at least two games but most of them are usually 2 vs. 2, which I find a lot less enjoyable than 1 on 1.
