It is at Psychogamer thanks goes out to Avarice for telling me about this.Below are the main points of the interview.Players can select an 8-bit graphics mode with 256 colors for faster play or 16-bit graphics with 65000 colors for more realistic look.Harvestors will be like those found in the movie not like the original game.There will be 9 missions, 27 total. There will also be alternate missions available.Units will be specifically tweaked for each House. ie. Ordos will have fast but weak units and Harkonnens would have slow but powerful units.The worms will not be controllable and Fremen will be a Atreides only unit.Worms will also be more aggressive and protect the spice fields and have an imporved AI.Spice blooms will create new spice fieldsEngineers will be used to take over buildings not infantry like in the original.They will be implementing a sell command.Mentants will introduce and advise you at the beginning of every mission.The Sarduakar will be available only to the Harkonnen.The Feature list for the game should be available soon.Crates will be adapted into the game for multi-player games.The game will feature all new music.The new AI will be much smarter.All three Houses will be available in multi-player.Westwood Online will allow two-players head to head and the game will be exclusive to them.They will not release the game until they believe all the sides are balanced.A Skirmish mode should be implemented into the game.Maps will be 128X128 at the largest like Mega Maps from Aftermath.Beta Testing may occur but check at Westwood for more about it later.
