Gamesmania: Dune 2000

The Gamesmania preview of Dune 2000 with Aaron Cohen is completed go here to take a look. There was not a whole lot of new facts from this and no new images but I have picked some of the highlights of the interview below:

• Graphic levels can be toggled if performance becomes an issue (such as in multiplayer)
• We can report that musically, the fans will be pleased
• FMV is directed by Kane, or Joseph Duncan, the "actor guy"
• The cut scenes we saw were well put together and well acted
• The Harkonnen side features a great character that radiates evil and sleaze
• We're going to see more of the Mentats, the Emperor, and the Truthsayer
• You can assign units to a squad, and hit a numeric key to bring them up again
• Commands in include Guard and Retreat
• Skirmish mode will allow you to go up against four computer-controlled opponents
• Expansion packs or level editors, etc.?
• If it's popular enough, and the demand is strong enough, anything is possible
