Frank herberts other books.

Has anybody out there read frank herbert's other books? what d oyou guys think of them? I think that frank had a real thing about artificial intelligence. I think that a lot of his other books are just as good or maybe even better then dune. What d oyou guys think?:)

I'm trying to get the some of he's other books but I haven't read them yet. However God Emperor of Dune, Heretics, and Chapterhouse are the best books I've ever read I love you Frank Herbert  ;D

I don't think it's AI Frank Herbert liked. More special persones, special "supernatural" gift's and mayby "mechanical" percission represented in people. ( humans or alien so to speak )

But look at the Destination: Void series. It is about artificial intelligence on the most part. The ship that was turned into a thinking machine to sustain its crew. how it eventually became godlike.

I mostly looked at the "godlike" part myself. Just as in Dune and The Dosaidi experiment. The fact remains that he has something for AI or godlike persones. :)

His son also has that theme in one of his books besides the Dune prequels that he and KJ Anderson have written.

I didn't read anything written by Kevin Herbert. That is exept for House Atreides, House Harkonnen and House Corrino.
