Emperor: Battle for Dune in 2026?

Bear with me, as I have not played the game in probably 15 years. I see a lot of information and apparently various options, but I'm wondering, simply:

What is the best method to play Emperor: Battle for Dune in 2026? On my Windows 11 PC? Is this Emperor Reborn option the most sensible?

that, I ain't sure of. I do know it works on modern machines though, so it'd at least serve as a great starting point!
