Game closes right before it starts...

whenever i'm playing a skirm or just a campaign, right before the game starts and it says "Generating a tactical view" the game closes on meeh...arrghh..and dont say that it's my graphics card or nothin...cuz i play WarCraft III perfectly on it....

I meant did you overclock the speed of your video card and/or processor, but looking at your reply, I don't think so.

You can overclock your processor and your video card and increase speed and FPS.

I'm still looking into some other possibilities, I'll let you know..

Check that you have all the latest drivers. If you've reinstalled xp, make sure you reinstalled Emp afterwards. Also check that you have not got any mod files in ANY of the emperor directories - check EVEN IF you've reinstalled.

Hmmm. With most mods, you may need to open the ArtIni.txt and Rules.txt files, then save them again. Emperor always looks for the most recently modified files, I think.
