Yeah but they have ripped off Dune for the Bene Gesserit, CHOAM (if you read more into it they even give what it stands for), IX, The Guild, Great Houses, Buhtleirin sect (Butlerian), machine revolt, holy war against the thinking machines, Mentats, Suks, Kanly, the Landsraad, Feydakin (Fedaykin?), Ghanima, Gom Jabbar, Sapho juice, Ecaz, and the War of Assassins.

As for Gundam and such, you are right there to. I noticed at least one pic for Mobile Suit Gundam and at least one from Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory.
