so far i was able to

break starport delivery, once delivered tanks never arrived :D whole deliveries got disabled.

starport purchase prices skyrocketted making purchase very expensive

disabling repairing for structures

multiple crates on skirmish/practice

harvested spice value increased/decreased. spice value buffed by 1.5x was able to debuff it so harvesting was almost worthless.

negative prices in starport purchasing  (game crash btw)

Sounds like you're messing with variables. We change that stuff through bytes in .inis attached to missions, so there's no need to touch this stuff. :P

A few of those things can be done with the mission editor (even the one included in gruntmods, although it is a really old version).
I did a campaign where the spice it's 2.5 more valuable, with the excuse of being "the most pure concentration of spice", 2 refs it's enough for the first 10 minutes of the game.

The starport prices also I altered, but never increasing the cost (withouth increasing the cost of the units), but for one mission units may apply a 75% max of discount, which means you can build combat tanks for around 150-200 credits each one.

it can be alterede the time the order takes to reach, I also had missiosn where the frigate only takes 20 seconds (instead a whole minute) to reach you, I never tried to increas, but I bet it works too.

Aye. Hey, if you want to get your up-to-date editor and see other stuff we've already cracked, check Klofkac's thread over here:

We found plenty of neat new stuff. :P
