Dr.Kran
If you wanted a unit to react to a certain feature with their images you'll need other animations for the feature. I'm certain everything is semi animated so is it possible to extend the animations?

In other words, because adding new unit behaviors is impossible, so too is adding more animations. You would need to overwrite an existing animation. Furthermore, spritesets have color palettes attached to them. So let's say you wanted to overwrite one of the Combat Tank bodies with a spriteset with lots of blue in it. As it turns out, that blue would actually show up as gray in-game due to the palette coloration. There are certain ways around this limitation. For instance, my new Combat Tank body overwrites ONLY the Harkonnen Combat Tank body spriteset. Atreides and Ordos Combat Tanks use the same body, leaving the Atreides and Ordos Combat Tank spritesets open for overwriting. There ARE some hidden animations, like Saboteurs' spriteset actually does have firing frames. However, the animation used for them is Light Infantry, oddly enough.
