The Destination America Channel is running an all day rail ride on the Alaskan Railway for Thanksgiving Day. It is a five hour ride. The first segment runs from 8am CST until 1pm CST, with a rerun (I'm guessing) following that immediately from 1pm CST until 6pm CST. Check it out if you get tired of watching those overpaid oafs in pads and helmets playing football. Something to do while waiting for the turkey to finish cooking. Happy Thanksgiving all RR enthusiasts.

Happy Turkey day.    Thanks for the heads up.

I dumped cable. So I don't watch TV except on the computer.   There is a lot of Railroading on the web.

The date is Dec. 24th.   I thought about creating a map for the holidays.  Centered on the North Pole.

where you pick your railway express route to get the most toys etc. (Cargo) hauled to the cities of you choice.

I've been so busy I'm well behind in making the map.

This is the time of year that people return to RRT2.  Maybe it will happen again this year.

Have a happy holiday.           JSS did you move.  Your email doesn't work?

The original Post Topic for this thread was 'An all day train ride on your TV'. How it got changed to what it is presently surely baffles me. I didn't think a Post Topic could be changed ever, but I thought wrong it seems.
