Luminar Posted May 2, 2014 Share Posted May 2, 2014 I thinked about a thing.My 2 favourite games are Dune 2000 and SA-MP.I'm good in pawno scripting.I already have my own basic tdm script. I want to make a Dune 2000 stlye script. My own ideas:- 3 houses (Atreides, Harkonnen, Ordos)- 5 subhouses (Corrino, Fremen, Smugglers, Mercenaries, Ixians)- attached objects for all skins (Material color will be the house color)- more planets (Arrakis + the 3 planets of the houses):I can use time and weather effects to change landscapeEvery planet will have his own world ID (SetPlayerWorld)You can buy vehicles only on your homeplanet or on Arrakis Outpost- I already have my own forum and I will change it for the server-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I will only make if the D2K Community want it. Feda Posted May 2, 2014 Share Posted May 2, 2014 I don't have any experience when it comes to SA or SAMP, but doesn't such a mod require TONS of modelling? Like creating maps for the planets, then creating models for tanks and other units. Not to mention that each vehicle must have a turret to shoot from. But I'm good mapper so I can make good "planets".//----------------------------------------------------------------------------// But I can't do this alone.Mapping,scripting,forum managing,advertising....all are my jobs :(Too much for me.But I will never stop working on it. You gotta tell us more about it first. First step when making a mid is to have a clear vision of it, then to make sure it is do-able. I cant talk about samp scripting as idk about it, but i can talk about that 3d modelling u will have to do. Are you sure you can do this?
