nemafakei
On skirmishes, turn off the 'living world' option, or use the mod maker (see Dune Editing) to make the chances of storms astronomical... and they should (almost) never bother you. nemafakei
Happy to help, but note that you may need the 1.20 upgrade to run it, as v1.12 spewed out an error message for me.
alphabeta4000
You hate sand storms right and so do I. They are really more annoying than any thing
nemafakei
They are just a pain - there are too many little things like this to worry about. I mean, if they were a major feature, at the expense of something else micromanagement-ish, that would be good. But as it is, coriolis storms do not help the game. alphabeta4000
it can get funny though when troops get sucked up
Gobalopper
I find them annoying because they aren't really random, they were programmed to follow your units around somewhat so at times it seems like you can never get away from them. nemafakei
More powerful but more random seems a good idea. Plus, they shouldn't wander around so. They would go in one direction (bar epicycles) alone.
ThopterFanatic
I once had a scout sucked into a storm, and the scout got flown right over the enemy base, since the units still have pathfinding when the get blown up. Pretty cool, although it didn't help me that much.
nemafakei
Very humourous. The graphics are at their best when the infantry are flying around in the air.
alphabeta4000
graphics are good and storms also get enemy units although have a nasty habit of sticking around all massed units and bases.
alphabeta4000
Why not manually editing text man it is far more easy to do stuff that editors do except for text
