Steal/Borrow form a mod???

Is it right to Steal/Borrow, a unit or Building to your own mod, if you credit the author???

THere are many nice mods out there you know, Eagle Red - RA2 even has a RA2 Sonic Tank?

I don't see why not, after all, there is nothing to say that you didn't just make it yourself. If it was copyrighted, like some mods, then you should ask first. But otherwise, no problem.

Just a warning, the author sometimes can see that it's his unit or building. [ ID code in the picture's code ].

If you know the authors e-mail, a message to ask and explain what you are doing isn't mutch efford and usually doesn't do any harm. :)

It's ALWAYS copyright, even if not stated.

Ideas like sonic tanks don't really count, unless you borrow resources like voxels and shps.

If in doubt, ask for permission BEFORE using the unit.
