map editor help

when I try to use SH2k,it's buggy.tailset extract not working,and when I try to load a map,it crashing.I have windows 7,and I tried to use it with WIN XP SP3 capability.

copy tilesets from install folder there is named zip file d2ktiles , extract them to tilesets in shai hulud directory.. then run shai huluud with administrator rights - then it will work

still crashing when opening map...no msg or enything

some DLL files are missing? try compatability with windows xp.

try install it again and then place tilesets to directory tilesets then run, select dune2000 dir and create map. if its still crashing. then something is done wrong way.. i had to copy one of msvbwm dll files into system32 as after installing i was unable to run it

i have windows vista ultimate 32bit

I saw somewhere that SH doesn't work on no-16bit systems, maybe that's it?

Edit: when I reinstalled the program I got that error:

"Error registering DLL.

could not load C:\windows\system32\NINPUT.OCX."

Shai Hulud works on 32 and 64 bit systems fine. I use Win 7 64 bit with no issues. You can always try a different map editor other than SH

I didn't find any other editor that works on my pc.I tried all editors in the editor downloads in the site

ok,now when Klofkac's map editor have map editing abilities this problem no longer so important.
