Scouts & Stealth

Very often I see the text: "scouts can detect stealth units".

How does it work? Or in other words; what is their detect range. Is it only if they are completly next to them - in this case any unit will do the same - or do they have a special ability?

Ofcource scouts are better for this job then other units anyway even if they don't have a special detect stealth ability since they are cheap and cloaked.

I don't know the exact range but it is larger then other units. They are useful for detecting Infiltrators, Fremen and of course other scouts. :)

Don't forget Atreides APC's though, they can really be a pain in the aars.  

I once got my whole base taken over  :O while I was on a rampage to annihilate my opponents base.  :-[

I'm glad WW make such a simpel unit so good and versatile.

Plus, scouts are very cheap, so it's worth leaving a few around since the damage stealthed units can otherwise cause can be worth the tiny expense.
