cnc95fan
Does anyone know how hard it would be to implement? Sticktly speaking it would be possible to include the _asm into a C++ file and program it yourself...
MrFlibble
I'm no specialist in programming issues, but I guess if the source code of Dune II was released, it would be theoretically possible to implement. But since it has not been made open to public, despite the game's age and numerous petitions from fans, you'll have to be content with "remakes" that support multiplayer. As a side note, I have heard rumors of a "multiplayer module" for Dune II made by some Russian programmers in mid-90s, but it appears to be an urban myth :)
cnc95fan
The soruce would be virtually useless to us really. It is probably an old standard of C, eww. It is possible to decompile dune2 into an assembley file, which is modifiable.
MrFlibble
It is possible to decompile dune2 into an assembley fileIf you're ready to do that, you're welcome :) Perhaps that would also be useful for my Super Dune 2 SE project... ::)As a side note, this topic would probably be more appropriate in the Dune Editing section.
