my name is adam and i am a duney. heh. well i have been playign around with dune files for a while now and did some research. i am tryign to figure out how to open them so i can edit them and all that. i really want to edit it to make it better. or course i would give all the credit to the peopel who help my and cyro. i heard it was created in visual basic...   any help will be appreciated

i guess it would be if we took the credit for making the game...

but i dont plan on doing that or making money off of it so i dont see why it wouldnt be legal...

In general decompiling and reverse engenering is against the law.

There are however a couple of programms that can do the trick. Usually you could have a problem if you don't know how it has been compiled. When you know that the major problem suddenly disapers ;D

well i am playign aroudn with the original visual bacis, so i am gonna try out and finf out how it was compilied. it dosent seem to me very hard. maybe i will use soft-ice i dunno...

yeah. seeign how it was srote. makes it a little easier. there is only one decompilier out to date that will decompile visual basic(original) but i cant find it so o well.

i would like to work on it all really... except the sounds. but the gamer is a little slow right now due to the other great games out. better graphics would be great.

I would liek to add on, maybe new art, better graphics. i have a few buds who program.. :-X :-X :-X :-X ::) ::)
