Is there any way to make the AIs team up to fight you in single player games?

Sad it isn't possible.

The AI is pathetic, even on hard and agressive.

A mod or so would have been cool and the AI would also be better for my training then for the comming tournament !.

There is a mod that make the AI somewhat harder, as it multi builds but the best way to practice is still online.  ;)

How do you solve timezone problems when playing online?

Well you can't really "solve" it. I am eastern daylight time USA (GMT -4). So when playing people from Western Europe, either they are staying up late or I am playing early. For the Koreans My evening is their morning. Really the best way Is to put this url http://64.212.211.93/emp/ in one of the tabs in your browser and watch when people come on to play, or set up a game thru MSN. There are also some people who set up games thru XFIRE, (see XaarKhan's post about this) it looks like a good way to set up games.

Nah, too busy. Besides, I've only fought AI.

But I'm still happy to see Emperor tournaments are still around :).

A way to force the Ai to fight you is to lock them up in their bases surrounded by your units.

Sadly enough even the 7 AI can't get rid of the troups placed ...
