It has just been announced today, that Simon & Schuster have secured the UK and Commonwealth rights for Jessica, Irulan, and Leto of Dune.  They are mentioned as a trilogy, which is probably a mistake, as Paul of Dune is due out in September.  Inicidentally, the cover art of Paul of Dune has changed, to a green and black colour scheme, which were the colours of House Atreides.

Kate Lyall-Grant from Simon & Schuster said:

"We are absolutely delighted to be continuing to publish Kevin J. Anderson, a master storyteller who is considered one of the best in his field... we are also thrilled to be welcoming Brian Herbert to S&S in this exciting new joint venture."

Tor Books will be publishing the novels in the US.  For more information, see this article on theBookseller.com.

My, quite the coup, that. ::)

:D

As little as he has been posting lately, it's not too hard to beat him to the punch. But never fear, give it time, he rarely passes up an opportunity to blow his own.

Some "fields" are not that big, so KJA could actually be the best. How many pseudo-mainstream SF authors are there who crank out franchise stuff that's inadequate at best in comparison to all the other SF authors? Thankfully, there are not so many, which is why I say the field is not as large as some people may think.  ;)
