dune 2000

i have now  pentium 4  3,69ghz  1gb ram windows xp proffesional  hdd 16gb seagate. and cant play dune,  cursor in game is moving too fast, when moving in map i cant control this as  it moves like  lightspeed.  what to do... i cant play my favourite game :!

Dosbox is one utility that might work. Hmm, dune 2000 is not listed.

Or maybe VDMSound

But those are mostly programs to get dos games to work.

As Dune 2000 is a Windows application, DOSBox and VDMSound probably won't work.

Have you tried reducing game speed/scroll speed in the game options? You can also try enabling the game compatibility with Windows 95/98 in the executable properties.

i have tried all things,  but game is  running faster than light..  cant ever move unit or place concrete  because after .... 15 seconds my base is gone because of ai engineers,

reducing speed  in game only effect that my units move slower,  but still  is  fast in  moving of map,  weaking scrolling of map  gives no any effects. compatability  modes does notthing. 

when playing multiplayer, playing is  more than spasmatic..  i have too new and too fast computer to run dune .. but  other games sush red alert 2 , works  fast but not fast like in dune 2000.
