Graphics and sounds from Dune 2000

Hello,

I am looking for some people who are willing to help me extract data from Dune 2000; this is for my new project.

Since i want to prove the engine is capable of doing dune 2, but also dune 2000, i'd like to extract as much data from dune 2000 as possible.

But, i have no time, and no tools as this moment.

if anyone has by chance the graphics as purely bmp files (i mean everything, units, structures, terrain) and even if possible sound and music (i got some music already, but no sounds). I would be very happy.

I do not mind downloading big files btw. Any help is welcome.

I might have time for this in the nearest future ::) I won't be working super-fast on this if I get myself to do it however ;)

Regarding sounds, I presume you can handle the speech files that are simply stored in the sfx folder by yourself (I mean convert them from AUD to WAV with XCC Mixer or any other AUD2WAV tool)? Or should there be a single bundle for all the files?

At the moment i lack so much time, i can't arrange this within a few months. So , IF you want to do all that, i would be very , very, very glad.

The most ideal situation is that i have a zip file with all data , ready for usage (ie, sound files in MP3, block data in BMP, etc).

The movies are not nescesary ;-)

you can extract dune bmp files from r8 files.  its easy,  you need only dune2000  image conventer.  with it open any r8 file and save them on disk

sure, i bet it is easy. But atm i simply lack time. If you can point me to the files where i can download them, so i can extract it myself. Sure.

Let me explain how it is atm:

I am typing this message, while i am sitting in the middle of my living room, with around me a ton of boxes and a lot of garbage. My windows pc is not working as well.

In short, i can't do much with my mac right now ;-) as i am trying to move to my new house. At he same time i have to attend a funeral, and finish things with my study. So, in terms of time... i lack some ;-)

So i ask for help, ofcourse i could do this myself later, but asking never hurt anybody right?

Stefan, I'll try to do as much as I can in my spare time :) I don't think you need the Dune 2000 files so badly you won't be content with infrequent updates? BTW, I hope to get the sounds and speech as soon as possible (in a week perhaps). MP3 files, right? Will send to the address you've indicated.

EDIT: Heheh. I also don't like when people tell to "do it yourself" when asked for help. No offense, AMIgaBot :)
