Phoenix
Hey Guys..Got a strange problem here..I got a Windows XP machine wich can accept Remote Assistance offers from an other XP machine. Now i got a Vista machine, which cannot offer remote assistance to that same XP machine. Microsoft says that it should work.. connecting to an older version of windows (XP) from a newer version (Vista) should work..But its proven here that its not always working the way microsoft tells us..Got an error like Check if the machine exists, if i have a connection etc etc.. But its none of the options given there...Any help?Thanks..
gryphon
Is one of them, or more in an AD domain by any change ?
Phoenix
the xp machine is part of the AD domain..the Vista machine isnt..could it be because of that domainmembership?!
gryphon
could be. GPO can dictate who can login with RA and if RA is started on the client machines. :)
