bob_fox
Afrikaans is probably the simplest when it comes to cases. It has only one gender and has even rid itself of many of its subject/object pronoun inflections (forgot what that's called).Try beat that! ;)
MrFlibble
Spanish, French, and Italian get rid of cases apart from in pronouns. For some reason, I greatly dislike French. Maybe it's their orthography. Maybe it's because at school, I chose German as the second foreign language, but it got cancelled after as semester (the teacher, who was some lazy, self-centered intern anyway, got fired), and we were forced to learn French, because the new teacher didn't have the license to teach German, although she knew both German and French >:( Luckily she wasn't too hard on us, and she was pretty good-looking as well :D But anyways, even if I learnt some French back then, I've forgotten it now, and I don't have the slightest intention to refresh my memory :PIt has only one genderYou mean it doesn't have any gender at all? Linguistic equation is usually 2-1=0 ;) No opposition - no category.
