The implications of such a find could be pretty significant. Pyramids now on 3 out of 7 continents? (and 3 out of 5 super contenents?) Obviously this could generate (or regenerate) lots of metahistorical or mythological ideas surrounding their existance, but more importantly I think it could end up (if it's found to be true) singificant in examining early human social obsession with primitive shape based archetecture, commonalities between early social deity structures, and all sorts of other stuff.

Of course, (again if it is true) one could suppose the technology and idea drifted over from Egypt, making the Central American pyramids, and Egyption pyramids the only two locations of pyramid origins.
