Vanguard3000 Posted February 26, 2006 Share Posted February 26, 2006 In the prequels (which I'm fairly sure is the only place they're mentioned, at least in any detail) they refer to it being spiny or having sharp plates or something, if I recall correctly.They do say (again, in the prequels) that S.S. is/was a radioactive wasteland, so they may be some sort of mutated terrestrial animal the prisoners learned to herd and use for food (thus naming them after cattle).
