The Fremen are great infantry units in Dune 2000. You can use them to take out harvesters. Also if you are play against the AI in a practice mission once you waste the enemies harvester they send some tanks, trikes and Quads for protection then you can hit them with an Airstike while they are all bunched up. Just watch out for Missile tanks.

i like to use 4 fremen, sneek inside a base. when there is no siege tank or soldier/trike/raider around. Try to take out the ix research center (expensive) the starport (slow unit assistance) or even better a refinery, but these are well armed.

also u can take out a tech center to stop those annoying airraides from atreides.

I like to bring 1 fremen into a base and scout it. I like doing sneaky things with fremen. Some people say they suck but when you use them properly they are great. Thats a good tactic with the 4 Fremen I will remember that one. I like to bring in a whole load of them into a base a waste their construction yard. Of course you have to watch for turrets. Fremen are also great for mopping up weak vehicles like trikes and Quads.

That's a good use of the Fremen it's hard to detect them crossing the sands because they blend in with their surroundings. Their also good for setting up ambushes in narrow canyon passages where the enemy has no other apporach options. Also use them to guard spice fields from enemy harvestor provided they do not get run over by the enemy harvestor, to unsure that does not happen find some rock formations near by where enemy vehicles can't reach them.
