Dune 2000 and trainers

Hi Folks

Was bored one night this week and decided to play a game on the pc and whilst looking came across my favourite game of all time dune 2000 and thought why not.

After playing through the game again I thought I would have a bit of fun and download a trainer so I could make it more interesting. I have downloaded about 3 trainers and none of them work. One of them generates the windows xp error message when I try to run it and thothers run but dont do anything in the game.

I am running Windows XP, the game runs fine, I dont need to change compatability settings or anything so I guess what I am asking is whether anyone has got a trainer that has succesfully run on windows xp and works.

I assume I am running the first version of dune 2000 as I havent patched it at all

I found a trainer that works with version 1.06 of the game

I updated to 1.06 and the trainer worked

If anyone wants it let me know

if you realy wanna make the game interesting, come online and play against me, on your best day i bet you wont last 10 mins with me

So if I was to play you online and only last 10 minutes, how would that make it more interesting?

that way you would know there is a whole new level of playing you didnt know exist, and after you get bored of the campaign you can get to know it and from my expirience its a whole new game

download the gruntmods edition, ensure its the latest version, and launch the mission select screen, where O4v2 was added.

got it. now. well this mission is hard and take time to collect forces, but making 3 heavy and light factories 4 refineries and 4 harvesters per refinery gives good power. but normally with 1 factory type light heavy you have to react quick :D i was destroyed twice in that mission
