Yeah. I'm back. Hope you guys don't mind my sporadic participation in this message board.

I was just wondering anyway, is there a way to edit Tiberian Sun (non-Firestorm version) such that the AI will not gang up on you after one AI player is dead. It's really frustrating when big games can't be played because of this. Also, is there a way to restrict the usage of certain units or structures (especially the AI), such as superweapons, artillery, etc.?

Also, are these functions that I talked about available in Firestorm? Thanks.

Oh, and after much searching, I have FINALLY found Chapterhouse: Dune. Just started :)

Okay nevermind. After doing some discussion with a friend, we concluded that Tiberian Sun wasn't really worth the time, since we prefer playing the AI and the AI is either so damn stupid or a major turtler that wins by abusing superweapons. Besides that, massive AI games were not possible since the AI would ally against you AFTER one of them dies.

Conclusion: If you want fast-paced strategy games with excellent gameplay, stick with Emperor. Warcraft is nice, but the gameplay gets frustrating after a while because of the long build times and the fact that micromanagement (much) is needed (which gets frustrating after a while). Which is why, for now, I'm returning to Emperor, though I have yet to get rid of the game locking up problem in the campaign when things like campaign speech are spoken. I was wondering if using something like Hekko Virtual CD would solve the problem. Thanks.

Also, I used the XWIS server. I still don't know how to play more than 4 players. Is it possible to play 2 human players vs SIX AI? Thanks.

I liked the AI of Tiberian Sun except it always seems to attack the host. :(

They only corrected that in Red Alert 2 as they allowed the defining of teams.

Actually there is "ai.ini" file, where it could be edited to make it tougher. Just change the limits...
