Yes its called that now but it used to be called IM so most of the older members still refer to it as that.

For me it shows Send IM under each person's avatar...

IM = Instant Message

Just asking when it was changed to PM (as I don't see "PM" anywhere), even though that is what I would call it, as IM is more for IM clients such as msn messenger.

When you view a person's profile, it shows at the bottom, Send this member a personal message.

Just isn't abreviated.
