Terror Posted May 18, 2005 Share Posted May 18, 2005 That's right princesses!,Here's Star Wars Battlefront!. Ok it already is like over a half year old. But I only got it recently (2nd hand) and well.. I love it. Does anyone else here have it/play it. I know there's a lot of people who either like or dislike it because although it uses the exact same concept as Battlefield.. it is different. It is somewhat less realistic. But it has more singleplayer, looks somewhat better and obviously.. is star wars oriented. So Princesses... what do you think of this game? That's like saying an escort isn't a hooer because she's more expensive.The game had some neat novelty value to it. Playing as Dark Troopers and seeing Darth Vader was neat, and driving some of the vehicles was fun at first, but it got terribly old terribly quickly. My roommate and I rented it when it first came out, and we were bored of it long before it had to be returned. Even tearing up Ewoks with an AT-ST got old fairly quickly. Terror Posted June 22, 2005 Author Share Posted June 22, 2005 Well it's Star Wars so it's obviously unrealistic. It IS less realistic in terms of ehm how flying is handled and vehicles etc.. Battlefield is well known for it's air combat. Planes can roll, make loopings.... pretty much anything you like. Well anyway I have always experienced it that way. I still think it's a good game. Admittedly, it does grow old rather quickly. But I still like it and think it's still one of the better Star Wars games out there.I've read about Battlefront 2. They wanted to realease it on the same day the Special Edition DVDs were released, so all the bugs and glitchs and stuff couldn't be fixed because George couldn't wait. As for Battlefront 2. It seems alot more promising compared to the orginal, playable jedi, space battles, better AI, and better single player.
