Keep in mind that it's often not the temperature stopping you from overclocking, but your hardware.

My RAM is not good at all for overclocking, and I get memory errors if I raise my FSB by as little as one more than I have already.

It just can't run any higher speeds than 333MHz  :'( ( which was what it was designed for ).

I'd easily go higher if it was just about cooling.

I would say it has way more to do with what settings you are tinkering with and some basic math rather tham hardware or cooling. Its all just a balancing act with your settings to get the most from your hardware. For me, I know in advance just doin a little research what the CPU i'm going to get will ultimatly be capable of if I do overclock it. However, not knowing what settings to use or Bios changes to do, memory timings, etc. to achieve the end result is a different story. I just never have been one to buy a CPU knowing it's locked, get it home and alter the crap out of it using pencil tricks wire tricks, superglue etc. although I have done it heh, and regreted it a time or 2 in the past. 2 Durons I still have somewhere that are nice little AMD paperwieghts now.

Hello,  I have the same board as you but a 3.2Mhz.  My overheat problem came from my power supplies,  the system zone 2 temperature was always to high and overheat the cpu at the same time.  Put a big side panel fan righ over your board and maybe you gonne solve this overheat problem, for sure a new cpu heatsink can help but take a look at zone 2.
