stealthwarrior00
Whenever I tried playing campaign mode and beaten the first mission, the game goes to the campaign map, and within 5 seconds, the program closes itself. I tried this with all houses and everytime, the same result. Has anyone had this problem, or perhaps a solution?
Gobalopper
Can you give out some of your computer specs? I have similar problems with an AMD 1.33Ghz, 64MB Radeon, 256MB RAM, and a SB Live! Value card... I am leanging towards the sound card being the problem now.
prismtank
Westwood games don't work with AMDs too well.
stealthwarrior00
Sure-I got an AMD 1.2 Ghz, 32MB GeForce MX, 256MB RAM, and I'm not certain what sound card I have installed. I'm going to email Westwood today and I'll pass on anything worthwhile.
Gobalopper
If it is a Sound Blaster Live card that might be causing the problem. I am going to try disabling it and seeing if the game works any better, this worked for another person having the same problem we are. stealthwarrior00
Sounds good. I'm still not certain what sound card I have, but when I do, I'll post it. Seems it may be some time before I can expect a reply from Westwood- I've been at DuneEmperor.com's forum, as of late. Tell me if helps.
