Freeze at downloading patch 1.09

Every time i install emp and am about to dl the 1.09 patch, my comp freezes up.

i click yes on the download screen, it says downloading files, and then it freezes up, and the only way to get out is ctrl alt del. the manual dl at fed is down too and i rlly wanna install that shit and get back in blasting.. so HELP    lol

do you have the instal disk in or one of the house disks? i think i remember i would always freeze if my instal disk was in but if i replaced it with one of the house disks it worked. try that if you haven't already.

yeah dude get downloading in dune2k on that patch and it will open on u computer and install with u own hands hehe ! ok?
