i took a peek through the stickes and searches, never found anything about modding the choices the game units make.

is there anyway to tell snipers to only shoot people?

is a tutorial around here about changing things like this in Emperor?

is this sorta thing practical or way to complicated?

i did real well in pascal.. but when i took AP computer science, i failed..

The files won't allow them to choose to shoot only people when left to their their own devices, though they generally prefer infantry targets. You could give them 0 damage against noninfantry targets, but that's unrealistic.

its an issue of protection...Ā  i dont want the snipers to attack armorer vehicls at all

theres no point in having sniper cover if their idiots.Ā

Then the other option is to make their attacks on tanks worthwhile.

What do I mean? - In my Conflict of the Landsraad mod I have changed the AT Sniper to a LaserSniper, still long range, still kills infantry in one shot, plus now does reasonable damage to tanks (less than a normal laser weapon) - BUT I have made it so weak that the lowest infantry units can kill in one or two shots.

Hi I need to know how to beat the computer using Atreides in Missions1, 2, or 3. Seems every time I start a skirmish the comp blows everything up. Can I turn off Superweapons for the AI or not? I can't seem to get things built before the comp superweapons destroys all as fast as I build the base. Need some help please...archiebĀ  Well I guess no one has tried the fan maps on Missions 1 or 2 or 3 to find out whats up. Mabey I should contact the mapmaker to find out. I'll keep this here just in case someone answers the question?? Thanks loads...archieb

well it's been a month since I posted this for help and got none, so i'll let it stay for a while and see if anyone responds. If not i'll delete it,,,but thanks anyway :O
