I'm not sure. I had had problems with ICQ/MSN with sending files, although I think it might have had to do with PnP disabled on my router (first had to upgrade the router software). Although PnP was mostly to do with online games, since I was unable to play them till I upgraded the router software.

You say router in topic, but not in content?

So are you using a router? what kind? have you tried to find updates for the router?

I have SMC and got an upgrade(download) for it.

usually it's 6667 and 1027 I though. Although UPnP on your router can help and you can specify in mIRC which ports you want it to use.
